Valentina (Vale) is a valued member of the Connect Direct Therapy team, working as an Allied Health Assistant and bringing a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and enthusiasm to her role.
Originally from Chile, Valentina is a qualified Speech Pathologist currently completing her validation process in Australia. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families to achieve their communication goals, and believes everyone deserves the opportunity to communicate, connect, and participate meaningfully in everyday life.
Valentina has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across areas including early intervention, late talkers, speech and language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, swallowing disorders, and Down syndrome, allowing her to provide personalised, tailored care.
Known for her warm and approachable nature, Valentina strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. She values working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred support.
Outside of the clinic, Valentina enjoys running, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors, bringing that same positive energy into her work.

Sam is a highly experienced Speech Pathologist and valued member of the Connect Direct Therapy team, bringing over 12 years of clinical experience and a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their communication, feeding, learning, and swallowing goals.
Sam is dedicated to supporting clients, families, educators, and communities through collaborative, strengths-based therapy tailored to each individual’s unique needs and aspirations. She believes every person has their own strengths and abilities, and is passionate about helping clients build confidence and reach their full potential.
Known for her creativity, enthusiasm, and positive approach, Sam brings energy and encouragement to every therapy session. Whether supporting first words, literacy development, expressive language, fluency, feeding, or swallowing skills, she focuses on creating meaningful, engaging experiences for clients and their support networks.
Sam has a particular interest in telehealth, literacy, and orofacial myology, and enjoys finding innovative ways to deliver therapy and improve accessibility for clients and families.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing, travelling, reading, and making the most of sunny days with a good coffee in hand.

She is dedicated to building strong relationships, supporting our clinical team, and ensuring clients receive the highest level of care from their very first interaction with Connect Direct Therapy.
